Nice success!

I got him today, in-person at the Empire Sunderland before the first show. He signed a few things actually for free, got him in a 'good' mood lol! (for him at least =P).

For those attending the shows, there are a few signed items for sale in his merchandise shop, like a signed DVD for £15 (signed by Mickey and Jan).

(I got the other cast members too- Les Dennis, Dale Meeks, Andy Scott-Lee, Michelle Heaton and Jan Rooney too).

So he does sign if you get lucky! No chance of photos with him though, he jumps about like a mad-man and complains about everything...

I think, having his autograph, was a great kindness of him. Indeed, he has treated me better, then Henry Winkler, who has not written back at all.

It seems to be that Henry, is answering everyone but me.

But hay, having Mickey's autograph, means a lot to me {thumb2} {thumb2} {wow}

And this is, the best signing mood, mickey has been in for many many years.

The best way to get him IP is before the show (and hope that you're waiting alone hehe)- he wouldn't sign afterwards or between shows. When he's with his wife Jan he seems more likely to sign, when it's his son there he's the one collecting the money haha!

Jan's alright, she was the one standing chatting with us, it's just she lets Mickey do what he wants... Like she has no control in the marriage lol! He was complaining about the cold (he should try living here! =p) but he managed to sign quite a few (unusal for him, he must've signed about 8 or 9 in total for the 2 or 3 people waiting. )

Do you have a scan of yours? I think it'll probably be too late for anyone else to try him by writing now, and the theatre aren't accepting any items to be taken in and signed at the stage door.

Sorry my scanner, is not working but it's was very kind of the theatre, to pass my letter on to mickey. {thumb2}

And YES it was wonderful of him to sign {wow} {clap} I think we better, look on this, as very much a one off.

If you do not, get his autograph now. That's it 4 ever, in the UK anyway, all your get otherwise is a sec's signing at best.

I really never, thought in a MILLION years, I would get his Autograph, but I'm happy with it.

Congrats again! From what I've been hearing he's been signing most times BEFORE the show when there's only a few people waiting, so lots of people are getting a success at the moment!

Don't forget that his 'Let's Put On a Show' tour resumes in 2008 (although in the USA) so good luck for those trying! Obviously if there's more than say, 3 or 4 people waiting at a venue he's not going to sign so you'll have to be pretty lucky and get a low turn-out for these one-off nights!
