For those who think Man of Steel will wrap on New Year's (or has wrapped because people are getting replies from Henry Cavill), WB insiders tell me they won't finish shooting until early February. It's possible they won't wrap in Vancouver, but I doubt it.

He's on a break from filming for the holidays, and probably wanted to catch up on the fanmail.

I learned last week Cavill went on his winter break hiatus from Man of Steel. He probably mailed off his responses either right before going to the airport or a few days prior -- hence you guys getting the VV replies back from him.

Thanks, Admin, for this thread! I for one appreciate it very much and would like to see more in the future. Not all of us are experts on finding VV addresses on our own (I'm relatively new to collecting and have no clue where to look, and even if I did I am not sure I would trust any other site if it wasn't official). I don't think these addresses will get "spammed"...a majority of the people on this site are collectors too and just want the chance at an auto that may be otherwise hard to get through an agency or manager! If a celeb wants to sign, they will. If they don't, they won't.

I know this is a topic that will be endlessly debated on this site, but I just wanted to say that a lot of us do appreciate it.

I agree with you also. I'm kind of new to this whole VV thing and I don't really know where to start. I've been collecting for years, and there are a few stars I'm a fan of and would really like to get. Emails or agencies are easier to find than VV addresses, and I think emails are more likely than addresses to get spammed because you get a "free" autograph sent to you.

Exactly! A person can send a hundred plus e-mails a day, aka "spam," because they are free and quick to send. But to write to someone VV requires more time and it also costs money for the stamps, envelopes, paper, etc. It is so much harder to "spam" these addresses.
