Received: Q filled out, Grease playbill, A Tale of Two Cities...the musical Picture
Derek Keeling is best known for appearing on the casting competition entitled "You're the One I Want," which searched for the next duo of Sandys & Dannys for the new Broadway revival. Keeling placed third. Keeling's other known roles include the lead in the West Coast premiere of "All Shook Up" and a national tour of "Grease" (before the competition).
Keeling most recently starred as Charles Darnay in the pre-Broadway, world premiere production of "A Tale of Two Cities...the musical," opening on September 18, 2008 (previews begin August 19). It was speculated that he would reprise his role (along with the majority of the world premiere cast), however he chose (& was selected) to be the replacement in the Grease revival.
Keeling can be seen along with Taylor Hicks as Teen Angel in Grease on Broadway. No closing date has been set & address is still valid.
(Derek is in my ATOTC signature a couple of times! :p) (He also said in the Q his favourite show he hasn't yet been in is Jekyll & HYDE: my fav too!)
