I had recently read through a Star Trek website that Christopher Plummer was returning to his roots at the Stratford Shakespeare Festival in Stratford, ON. I took a long shot and emailed the festival in hopes of getting an autograph. I received a message from one of the festival heads asking for my address.

Today, some 6 days after. I got an autographed program for his performance of Caesar and Cleopatra. It was signed to me. I will try and upload pictures of it. The writing was alittle hard to read, but I'm totally happy. I sent off a request to the address in the system a few month ago.

Hi that's great! I'm hoping to write to him myself very soon! I have to watch a film of his I bought recently (Closing the Ring) first, and then I will write, hopefully at the end of the week!

I've been waiting over 5 months for a reply from his home address. Previous replies were like 3-4 weeks. I don't know what happened to mine . . . ?

I sent one off to his home address quite some time ago. He is going to be doing those performances until early November.

Hmmm . . . Now I'm wondering if I should wait until the end of November and hope he answers my request---hopefully it hasn't become misplaced---or if I should try him at the festival. I suppose I could try him at the festival. I'll have to look up the info and give them a call to make sure they accept requests by mail.

I can't see why not, if they actually answered your email and sent you a signed program. I guess I could email them and ask if they accept requests by mail.
