The plays run goes until early 2009.

Equus closes with Daniel Radcliffe on February 8, 2009. There's rumors that it may be extended, but it's pretty much believed it won't, and even if it does, rumor has it that Zac Efron (the most discussed so far) would take over (or another teen star), should it extend. Efron, however, is in talks with Andrew Lloyd Webber to make his big-line theatrical debut as Joseph in the Joseph and the Technicolour Dream Coat revival on the West End.
