Hi
I sent a request to Richard Gere when he was filming "Amelia" here in Toronto. I sent around April and got it back today Oct 15th 2008. It came back from the U.S.
Address Used:
Richard Gere
"Amelia"
30, Booth Avenue Suite 200
Toronto ON M4M 2M2
Canada
ADDRESS NOT VALID
However, I don't know too much about the authenticity of the autographs. They look relatively the same when you view it so I am wandering, AP? or does it look authentic and its merely a coincidence that they look a bit similar
Cheers

ah shucks. This would have been an UBER success if they were authentic. Bah, better wait till I get him IP then
Yeah, they are nice pics. But getting HQ's of him is quite hard lol
I hate the fact that one has "love" and the other doesn't - secretarial nonsense

Maybe there have been many requests sent out but absolutely no successes
afem1010, congrats on your reply and "sorry" that your pics are only autopenned

I thought I read someone say that there had been previous successes from that venue? Were they all AP? I thought there were a couple at the beginning that were authentic?
I sent to him VV back in February and received an authentic in about four weeks from NY. It's not a PP, as I angled it in the light and I can see the ink sitting on top of the photo. And it's not an AP, as it doesn't match any autograph I have found so far. I have looked at a lot of his autographs on the net and I see a lot of secretarials that look "nothing" like mine, or the above APs. I then found a document that had been signed by him twice and those matched mine quite nicely. So I was then convinced it's authentic.
Very sorry to hear you received APs back. I know exactly what that feels like! I've had that happen with another big star.

Try waiting 3-4 yrs for a reply......6 months waiting time is peanuts in comparison.
