On October 8, 2008, I sent a letter, 8*10 photo, and SASE to Kate Mulgrew at:

Today, October 31, I received my photo back signed and inscribed in my SASE. I'm really happy with this success as I've been trying to get Mrs. Mulgrew's autograph for years - I think I've racked up about fifteen Studio Fan Mail pictures via several different venues.

I'm not too thrilled about the quality of the photo I sent though - that just goes to show you should always buy trusted brands of photo paper.
