The Playbill doesn't have the sticker that says Opening Night, but I believe it's from around the Opening. :)

Selise, just so you know (I seem to be the enlightened "Broadway Expert" on here)...Opening Night playbills only have the sticker applied to them when sold throug the Playbill store.

On the title page of the show's credits (where everyone is listed/director/before the bios) above it, it is either blank, or there it should say

"OPENING NIGHT: APRIL 28, 1997" or whatever the date was/is.

Check it out! Many shows often send Opening Night Playbills (check your ATOTC one too to see if they changed it!).
WONDERLAND:Alice's New Musical Adventure enjoyed a short, but sweet run on Broadway in Spring of 2011!

Weird - I think I have 2 playbills that have the sticker on them - and I would have gotten them on the official Opening Nights of the show, live (well, my mom got one at Phantom's opening - I got the other one with Mamma Mia). I don't buy playbills. Just thought all the opening night ones came with a sticker - it's what I've seen. I'll have to check on them, cos I know that I went on Opening Night.

Just checked -- it is the Opening Night Playbill of Speed the Plow and ATOTC. :)

Cool - I'll have to check all the others now, see if they're opening night or not!

thats a brilliant success! I got an Opening Night playbill as well some time back of both The Seagull and Speed-The-Plow. I am really going to try and write to A Tale of Two Cities ASAP as I really love Dickens and his stories.

Only if you buy playbills from the playbill store do they come with a "Opening Night" or "Closing Night" sticker on them. They get it from the Theatres and then add that in. That is just a "product thing" that the store has so its like special haha. The ones that you get through the mail are straight from the Theatre from a big pile of sorts so they never have the sticker on them. Hope this helps!

Thanks so much for sharing!
