My "Avenue Q" collection is slowly filling out... adding to my Ann Harada and Jordan Gelber autographs, Stephanie D'Abruzzo came in the mail today. She, of course, lent her amazing acting and vocal skills to the Original Broadway Cast as Kate Monster and Lucy the Slut. I received back a lot more than I expected to- not only did she add in a piece of cardboard so that nothing happened to my index card (causing her to add on more postage), she included an exceptionally kind hand-written letter back to me. It's this kind of response that really spurs me on to continue autograph collecting, knowing that this not only makes me happy by getting people's signatures, it can let an actor know that their own work is enjoyed and appreciated.
