For all those who don't know, (just keeping the message going) AMERICAN BUFFALO will be closing this Sunday, November 23; the play will have played 8 performances over 6 days.

That kinda sucks. I'm going tommorrow and I am pretty sure it'll be hard to get tickets to the last show.

That's not official yet. A decision isn't been announced until tomorrow, as to whether the show will play it's last performance today.

It's not looking good. A TALE OF TWO CITIES announced it was closing the 16th of this month on the 4th, yet ticket sales were only good for the following weekend (the 16th) and thus imposed an earlier closing of the 9th (I have a bad thing about this!! !). Also, with 3 celebrities (two film stars and a Tony Award winner), even making $200,000 a week probably is barely reaching how much those 3 are making, not to mention running costs among other things.

In fact, it's been selling awfully,...only a 51% attendence rate last week, with it's highest being 58%, but it doesn't matter...the average ticket price is horrid. Tickets sell for $51.50 - $116.50, yet the overall average ticket price sold so far (3 weeks, the week ending today is the fourth) is $50.40. Not good! It looks like it's ending today, for the record. I'm not saying definaately, because there's a small chance the producers would hope to keep it open to even atleast next week or until January 4.
