I had hoped to see the show and meet her in person, but unfortunately, it closed a couple weeks before I went. I was also nervous that if the show closed and I hadn't gotten anything back in the mail, I wasn't going to. However, about two weeks after the show closed, I received my photo back, signed! She must have got responding with the free time she had when the show was supposed to be still running. I still hope to meet her some day.

I am really excited to get this as she is one of my favorites! She is my 24th Star Wars actor (she is the voice of the droid Aly San-San on the Star Tours ride at Disney World), 18th Pixar voice, 15th Family Guy voice, 8th West Wing actor, and 41st Emmy winner!

Nice success! It's a shame you couldn't make it to NYC. She was so nice at the stage door! You'll meet her someday.

Thanks! I hope so. The sad thing is that I had plans to see the show in late June, but it closed about a month early. I still went and saw a couple other shows, but I was really hoping to see her. I'm sure she'll do another play (or hopefully a musical!) sometime soon!

Thanks, admin, but just a heads up: the date you listed is the original end date for the play, but unfortunately, it closed a month early and is no longer a valid address for Ms. Janney. I apologize for not listing that in the title of the post.

I just want to send her a letter about how important the character of CJ was and is to me. I don't need anything back.
I just figure she has so much fan mail, I don't think it will reach her.

Should I bother?

I would definitely encourage you to do it! Especially if she does a play again and you can send it to that address. I really think that's the best way to send them a letter and know that there is a really good chance they'll read it!
