This is the first time I have ever been successful VV (not including a PP I got a few years back), and I can't believe it was from such a legend!
I am SO happy with this success, I have been a fan of Lionel my whole life. I can't believe I have his autograph!!

I sent a letter, picture and SASE. For some reason the ink on my picture smudged at the bottom, this has never happened before so I can't understand why it happened this time, but the autograph is perfect so I'm happy about that

I had a smudging like that, I printed a pic, left it to dry for 24hrs like recomended and put in in file for graphing, when i got it out it had smudged aginst the back of another pic

Yeah I always leave my pictures to dry, then I put it in the envelope and checked it again before I posted it and it was fine, but then when I opened it yesterday it was really smudged. I'm thinking it must have been fine when it got to him or I doubt he'd have sent it back. It had happened since being in my SASE because you could see all the ink inside the envelope. Maybe he spilled something on it? Or it may have been left out in the rain. Not too sure.
