I wrote to Ewan McGregor, too. He doesn't sign the photo. His agency send an autographed photo only.

I don't think you understand what mareen26 was saying. She never said that Ewan didn't sign, she said that he doesn't sign pictures of himself that you send out to him. The first link you put, Smudge sent a programme in which he got from seeing the play and in the second one the person got the normal photo in which Ewan sends out from his agency.
Hope that clarifies things!
