I class this as both a failure and a success.
The failure part
I sent a letter, SASE and photo for a June 15th concert and received back today my photo unsigned and his preprinted photo. For me, if its not authentic, its a failure and a disappointment.

The success part.
This was the first time I tried this arena so now I know for future shows that they do pass on fanmail

i got the same photo back all the time now, just the pre printed sig is in different places. and i have tried everywere for clapton, wich is why i have given up on him. i dont beleive its the venues who are doing this, i am now starting to think it is his touring management.

Yeah, I'm sure his tour manager has a stack of these PPs, ready to send out.

It is a disappointment and a "failure," but at LEAST he responds and sends out something, so you know he got it and you can stop trying. Unlike his buddy Steve Winwood, who is so cool he just doesn't even respond.
