Wow. I am beyond impressed. I held off sending to this one since apparently Roundabout doesn't send signed playbills, but as far as I'm concerned they do now. That's two times in two weeks I've seen them do it. Broderick signed it, didn't he?

It's mostly STUDIO 54 that doesn't do it - I've never had a problem with the American Airlines Theatre.

Oh, really? I thought it was the Roundabout Theatre company in general...

I did see someone get a signed Godot playbill though from Studio 54, so who knows?

Plus you did mention on the first post of your Playbill Collectors topic that Roundabout Theatre Company (Being Studio 54 and AA) almost never send out signed playbills.

Both American Airlines and Studio 54 don't - I have tried both venues and have had no replies sometimes. Its the "odd" success that comes from the venues

One request to all, do not send requests to these venues, for the sake of getting one individual, as they are some-what charitable theatres and the chance that people get to get replies because they REALLY care for the show and the stars, will be gone.

Shaun, I am saying that to you as well. For the record.

Thankyou Afem.

I don't think people on here understand that fanmail from the theatre is much more "intimate" (for lack of a better word) than A-list celebrities - even when they are performing at a theatre, it's a much more "intimate" thing than if you wrote them at an agency.

That being said - Shaun shockingly appears to bea big theatre fan...!

And I haven't got a reply from Roudnabout now that I think about it since last May with my favourite (or top 3 I should say :) ) Les Liaisons Dangerueses. And didn't see any with Langella's Man of All Seasons.

All I am doing is collecting signed playbills, like nearly everyone else on here. Afem why did you have to single me out on your message? :?

I didn't single you out. But it seem that you are the only one sending mass letters to every theatre in NYC. Collecting is fine, but do it honestly. Do you even know what the Philanthropist is about? Roundabout Theatre has managers who stop sending signed playbills because people just randomly request them and then things get put up on ebay.

And it also so happens your the only one here who has sent to all Roundabout Theatres.

Id don't single out anyone in anything. This is your topic, and I directed my msg to you. Simple as that. Some of us actually care about Theatre. Im even doing a play/show myself for that matter. so please don't be alarmed if you thought I was "single-ing" you out.
