Sent a letter and SASE to the Stage Manager of the amazing West End musical, La Cage aux Folles, which I saw in April starring Graham Norton and Steven Pacey at the beautiful Playhouse Theatre in London. In my letter I said how much I had enjoyed the show, and asked whether the show flyer and custom record card I had included could be passed to some of the show to sign. I also included a questionaire card with a couple of questions and asked if the stage manager could kindly give it to one of the cast members to fill out. I also included the photo of me and Graham Norton that I had taken when I met him after the show in April in case Graham had time to sign it, though I found out shortly after sending that he had left the show days earlier. A couple of weeks ago I received back in a different envelope, my flyer and record card both signed by many members of the cast from the show, along with my small questionaire card filled out by Roger Allam, who is the new 'Albin' in the show, (seems like a hilarious guy) and a note from the show's company manager who had so very kindly forwarded on my photo to Graham. Am absolutely thrilled as I absolutely loved the show! Go see if you can: La Cage aux Folles

Congrats! I've got a cabaret table booked for October when John Barrowman will be playing Albin. Can't wait!

Haha well... we're on the lucky table (apparently)! And we have all four seats, so it's gonna be one of us We wan't wait, we're all huge fans of John's, and when this came up it was too good to resist! I've seen the promo photos of him this week, he looks incredible! Lol.

Well enjoy the show and hope one of your party gets the lucky seat! Be sure to tell me how it goes, would love to know how Mr. Barrowman shapes up as an 'Albin'. The promo photos are great, aren't they?!

I agree, it was so incredibly kind of him to forward on my photo to Graham, must write a little note back to thank him as he really didn't have to do that.

Yes, I did do the record card and the tiny index card. Unfortunately my printer (depite me resetting the paper size in the settings) decided to print out the show's graphic and border in the wrong place, completely different to how it looked on screen and in the print preview, so had to print it out several times adjusting it unitl it looked right when it was printed. Stupid thing!
