YES!!!

OK, it is early morning here (07:30) in South Africa and I just woke up. My first thought were "when am I going to get my reply from Henry?'". We are still very behind with mail because of the recent strike, so I was fearing that they might toss my Henry autograph (if it even existed!). The next moment, my mom, very excitedly, came into my room and handed me an envelope from Ireland!!! She loves autographs too, so when she saw me going "oh my goodness!", she went excitedly "who is it? who is it?". I am like "The baddie from 'Stardust' who kicks Charlie Cox's butt in the film!".

When I pulled out the photo, I nearly fainted (having already slept for 8 hours ha ha!) - Henry wrote an amazing inscription and actually read my letter (I love it when they show they read the letters)!! I have adored Henry since his role as Albert in the wonderful film "The Count of Monte Cristo", as well as in "Tristan + Isolde", "Stardust" ( I hated Humphrey, but yet loved Henry!!) and of course, as the brooding Charles Brandon in my favourite show "The Tudors"! I cannot wait to see him in the Woody Allen film "Whatever Works"!

I sent: A letter, photo and SASE (thanks to the WONDERFUL Dani!!)
Date sent: 14 August 2009
Date received: 15 September 2009 (delayed because of strike)

Not going to post as Dani did a lot of hard research finding it.

I received: My 4x6" photo, which I accidently printed on normal paper (not my special one!), back signed & personalized from the amazing Henry!! He wrote "Dear Lizanne, Happy 19th Birthday!! All my love {his autograph}"! Aw, he seemed so excited that it's my b-day ha ha, he made two exclamation marks! His autograph has been my absolute most wanted for years now, and I've wrote to him via his agency without any luck so I really cannot believe I actually got his autograph, which is SUPER rare!

I am so thrilled with this, Henry is one of my top favourite actors of all time! {love} Needless to say this is one of my favourite replies ever - I've had quite the luck recently with James Franco, Chace and now Henry!

Oh, just wanted to add, birthdays are my favourite days of the year (others' and my own), so that's why everyone seems to wish me a happy b-day! But I had a great b-day this year, now that I look back at it!

Thank you Urša! Henry was my most wanted for a long time, so I am so glad that I finally got a reply from him - he's a great actor! {love} In "Stardust", he was Humphrey, the blond boyfriend of Sienna Miller's character Victoria. Humphrey had this short little stick with which he beat Tristan (Charlie Cox) at the beginning of the film. Henry was so funny as Humphrey, and very unrecognizable!

Thank you for the nice comment, Jaiden! Unfortunately Henry does not reply via his agency, actually I have never heard of any successes from him TTM before mine and two others from the same address on another forum. You could try him via venue though - good luck! {thumb2}

Ha ha, Anita, I only have one birthday (I wish I had more, but like all the rest, only one!) - it was on 28th August! Each year, around June, July & August, I get excited about my birthday and I would mention it (in a short sentence, with less than 10 words) in some of my letters (none of my letters are ever the same, I write something different to each person). I always add a paragraph in my letters about what's going on in my life at that moment, so they can "get to know me"! :razz: To tell you the truth, the fact that Henry and Dominic Cooper both wished me a happy birthday this year ( ) is quite surprising to me as I wrote very long (longer thah usual) letters to both actors, whom I adore a lot! It shows that they actually read my letter, which is amazing! Good luck to you too, Anita!
