You sent EXTREMELY early. Chances are it is either at the bottom of the huge pile of people who listened to advice given by me and some others (send around the 9th) or it is lost. You will probably have to try again! Sorry!

It takes 9 days to get to NY from where I live. If I sent on Sept. 1 it would arrive just as the play is starting.

And if you are such an expert on theater then why do you keep saying you send just a letter to the celeb and wonder why you don't get anything back?! Like with Susan Sarandon.

And the one time I tried to be nice and supportive to make "you" feel better by suggesting "you" try for a playbill again, as there was still time, you rip my head off and hand it to me on a platter like I have commited some sort of horrendous sin.

I also send my letter at the beginning of September and recieved a reply from Daniel Craig on the 15th, and mail from the US to Germany takes usually up to seven day. So I would guess he signed my request before the actually play started. The actors don't just arrive on the day the play officially starts they usually there a couple of days earlier for practice. And from experience I can tell you, that it is better to be the first one to write, becauce usually chances are higher that you recieve a reply.

Because Daniel Craig was there doesn't mean Hugh Jackman was there too. I would understand if it was just Daniel Craig. It does seem like they are starting at the top of the pile though. Also keep in mind mail gets lost all the time.
