just a question, how is writing to the stage manager done? i mean how is it different than regular LOR?>

Writing to a stage manager is not that different from writing to a celeb. Just tell them what you think of the play (If you've seen it or read the storyline or seen the motion picture version ect.) be sure and wish the entire production the best of luck (No need to mention every perfomer & crew member unless you want to). If it's a 2-person play like "A Steady Rain" you can comment on how you liked the films Daniel and Hugh have done.

And at the bottom you can kindly request a signed playbill.

I actually feel much less stressed writing to a stage manager vs a celeb. With the celeb, I really feel the need to gush but need to find the balance between creepy admiration and the truth. Writing to the stage manager, I feel like I can be more reserved while still not seeming disinterested.
