Hi !
I wrote Jude Law 5 days ago...But today I got an RTS :( I was so happy thinking I have could get an answer :(
This is the scan:

I'm discovering that the right address should be :
Broadhurst Theater not THEATRE. :(
Could it be the reason why I get it back ?? My mother told me it can't be but I think it's this.

Let me know please.

That's strange. The address is correct, and spelling it as "theatre" should definitely not make any difference, as I spell it that way on every request, and have gotten over 25.

Perhaps he just refused it as he is getting a ton of fan mail? I have no idea. :?

I really hope this doesn't mean that they've stopped accepting fanmail, I'd be devastated :(

I don't know if it could that you haven't written c/o Hamlet ...

Sometimes Americans have problems reading the number 1 and 7, they write it a bit different. I don't know if this could be the reason.

Neither writing "theatre" instead of "theater" or "Hamlet" instead of "c/o Hamlet" or anything like that should have made a difference. It's very unusual for an RTS to come back like this, you have the address correct. It's true that Americans and Brits dont write 1s the same as mainland Europeans, but I would have assumed that the postal system would have spotted the difference given the rest of the address.

By the way (this wont have affected you getting an RTS, it's just an observation) you might want to write your addresses closer to the middle of the envelope, as that's the easiest place for the computers to read it :)

Maybe it's your 4s in "44th" Street...when I looked at them, I sort of thought they could pass for 6s since they are written down a bit lower...that's all I can think of. Sorry it came back to you - you can always try again!

Thank you for your answers. I appreciate them ! :D
I'm mailing him another letter tomorrow. I don't hope I'll get back another RTS.
I've written the 4 very well...and I've added other informations in the address.
Thank you for all your advice. {thumb2}
I'll let you know.

I think that they couldn't have problems with 7 because it's written quite nicely and nobody could doubt it especially if addy was written in a very correct way. And also, surely many people wrote send fanmail to Jude Law so any single mail man had to be sure where to forward the letter, don't you think so guys?
Anyways...I am sorry my friend.
