Hi, I got a very quick success from Jimmy Smits VV God of Carnage. Loved him on NYPD, Star Wars, and Dexter. I can't wait for the Dexter Season 3 Trading cards! I asked him if he was signing but no answer. He also didn't sign my Dexter trading card promo.

Sent- December 3, 2009
Where- VV God of Carnage
What- Letter, SASE, Picture and trading card.
Received- December 13th, 2009 my picture personalized in my SASE but no trading card promo in sight.

Congrats! I have heard that, since he wasn't in the original season of Dexter, he doesn't like signing Dexter memorabilia unless someone else signs it first. Otherwise he feels like he's infringing on their success.

I didn't know that--I still hope he decided to sign for the Breygent set. :D He still rocks!

Absolutely. Such a huge star with such an extensive resume - NYPD, West Wing, Dexter, Star Wars..... - and he's still taking the time to do this. I sent him a photo of himself as President Santos, but it was an internet photo with pretty crappy resolution and printed terribly. Rather than just sign it and return it, he replaced it with an official 8x10 promo shot of him in the Oval Office. I was so thrilled. I'm thinking of sending a thank-you note. He was one of my favorite actors just for the acting, and that small gesture shot him several spots higher up the list.
