I was going to send him photos to sign but have heard he is not very nice, so decided not too...my loss!

Awesome success. National Velvet, and the Andy Hardy movies are my very favourite of his movies.

Congratulations on your success. I got him in-person last year in Chicago at a convention. He was there both days. I paid to get him on a couple of photos. He was surprisingly very nice the entire time, posed for photos and said hello to everyone. I know he was getting paid, but I've been to tons of paid signings where the person was not nice.

The last 2 times he was here in panto, it was believed that he wasn't sending out authentics. That maybe his son and/or wife were signing for him. However, these 2 look surprising like the autographs that I've had from him IP. It's just so difficult to tell.
