Thanks for the input--think I'd have more luck trying his UK dates?Revolver wrote:Don't think it's the letter content, more likely just the country.
In my opinion the people behind Paul's US tour were full of **** - I'm sure he would have signed via venues such as the Hollywood Bowl but he was probably subject to red tape.

Hi Lauren81492, The letter I sent to HB, Jobing and Puerto Rico was the same, but different to the one I sent to The O2 and Koln Arena.Lauren81492 wrote:espartaco, I just thought of something I wanted to ask you--when you sent your fifth letter, did you change it in any way from the previous four? I'm sort of wondering if Paul's people decide whether to send an autograph or not based on the quality of your letter. Just want to know if you did anything differently to get a success.
So with the same letter I received 2 failures and one success.

Curious about the logistics. Did you send him IRCs for them to mail your letter back to you? I wouldve thought there would be no chance of getting a response back from a tour in another country because when are they going to find time to swing into the post office and redeem local postage stamps?

In Puerto Rico they use US stamps, and their postal service is managed by USPS. I had some unused US stamps and used them in the returning envelope.

But aren't you located in Mexico? And also, what about when you sent to O2 and Koln?
-Thanks!

Yes, I live in Mexico, but sometime ago I bought some US stamps from Ebay. For the O2 and Koln I sent 2 IRCs for each one. The letter from Koln was returned as RTS (it says zuruck an absender) , because they do not pass on fanmail ( I learned later here...). The MPL rejection letter from O2 was returned with only a 1st class stamp (incorrect postage) , so I think they put the first stamp they found.neil819a wrote:espartaco wrote:neil819a wrote:Curious about the logistics. Also I just had enough US stamps left for only 2 letters and I decided to use them for the Hollywood Bowl and Puerto Rico venues. I sent 2 dollars for the Jobing venue, but the MPL rejection letter was returned without stamps, and it arrived here that way.
So yes it can be a risk if you do not send the proper postage.
