I can't speak for anyone else, but I think that is the wrong frame of mind here. I'm not trying to have a go at you, but I think that is fundamentally wrong and the opposite of what this site is here for. It is a selfish attitude. I agree that smackedsillyxxx could've said 'congrats' or something. But I think you are more in the wrong. I shouldn't even be responding here, I apologize, but I vehemently disagree with you. Of course, someone can Google the production address, but why, then, post the success? To let someone know that if they can find the address it is valid? You're wrong. This site is a community, not a place to post self-indulgent successes. At the very least, why not shoot the guy a PM and ask him to to publish it. But, not this gluttonous attitude. This site has on it's main page: "How can you help us? If you used one of our address send us your feedback! We will publish it here for other fans and autograph collectors." I know, it's not a policy, it's a courtesy.
If I'm wrong here, please somebody step in and put me in my place.
Sometimes this site can be a little grubby, but I think more often than not, it's a communal place to gather, share, and help one-another out. There are more good eggs than bad. I'm sorry people have treated you unfairly in the past. I too have sent someone a message with no reply. It happens. Don't let bad correspondence corrupt you.
I'm sorry for bringing this up. I want everyone to get their most-wanted autograph as much as I want to get mine. It's a fleeting hobby with a great deal having to do with luck and persistence. Thanks gang.

Couldn't agree more.

I'm a bit split on this - perhaps johnnylightning is wrong in not sharing, but given the number of people here who like to lie, write to celebs they're not even fans of for the sake of an autograph, etc, I often find it hard to blame someone for holding some addresses back. He certainly isn't the only one to do so. On the other hand, I've also learned from others that if you can't post an address for whatever reason it may be, it's better just not to post the success at all (since it often gets deleted anyways).
