Awesome success from one of my favorite bands. What makes this success bitter sweet is that I went to this concert and sent a request with a photo to be signed via this venue! A month later it came back signed by all 4.

Yes, you are right. They infact did break up back in 2004. Everyone but the singer (Scott Stapp) wanted to continue on and do other type of music than christian rock. They auditioned other singers and finally selected Myles Kennedy to form a band called "Alter Bridge".

Last year they got back together and came out with a new album "Full Circle". Scott Stapp, who was once full of himself has done just that, he has changed "full circle" for the better and is now a very humble person. He appreciates his band members and his fans more so now than 6 years ago.

I never knew that Alter Bridge was the same band!!! I'm a huge fan of both!

I AM a huge fan of their songs, I just never really payed attention to who the members were I guess...

I'm just giving you crap. They are an awesome band. Myles does a remarkable job. I had a chance to not only see him perform with Slash last Sat., but got a chance to meet him and get my pic with him.

AB is set to do a European tour in Nov. and they are releasing their 3rd album next year. I asked him if they would be doing a US tour after the European tour and he told me most likely because the particular venue where I saw him had tons of AB fans there. I can't wait to meet them all again.

They really care about there fans and unlike CREED who plays at huge stadiums, AB comes to the local venues and will be a chance for fans to meet them before and after the show. Can't wait!
