Kings of Leon via venue success

I sent a request and photo to Kings of Leon when they played at the VB Amphitheatre and the request came back today signed by all 4 members and their tour manager card attached to the photo...

It once took over a week for me to get a vv success back from a venue in my own city! Dont get discouraged yet.

I sent to them for their concert on July 31 but I didn't get a reply. I sent them my Rolling Stone magazine.

I'm hoping that the venue pass my fanmail to them.

Thanks. I wouldn't give up hope that quickly. Often these bands will pick up the mail, take it with them and sign it on the road and have it mailed back at first opportunity.

Both my CREED and Kings of Leon were over 3 weeks ago since the concerts happened. I'm just now getting them back. Don't lose faith. The one thing that I learned is that this particular venue does in fact pass on fanmail. I had my doubts that they passed on fanmail. I'm glad that i was wrong!

Well this proves one thing...the band definately signs their fan mail via venue. I think it is a case of the venue not passing on fan mail. Have you sent to this venue and received a success from them in the past?

Thanks for your kind words ) But I think there's no hope left as two of the singers already left the country and continue touring in other countries... and my stamps are only valid in Germany
But I know that not each request can be a success.

Just out of curiosity who did you send to? I was also stationed in Germany a couple of years ago near Stuttgart. Some artists will actually foot the bill for the postage if they brought it out of country and notice that they don't have the right postage on the return SASE.

I've had that happen a couple of times.
But I know that not each request can be a success.
