Alice Cooper VV FAILURE

On 18th October, sent a LOR SASE and 2 photos to Alice Cooper co the SECC Glasgow. Today - a rather bent creased and wet envelope arrived - the photos unsigned and a post it note that read. 'sorry, it was not possible to get thes esigned - thought you would like them back' really disappointed as I have had success's from the SECC before - guess he doesnt sign VV???

He does sign VV. You probably just either sent too late or someone crappy got them & couldn't get ahold of him to sign em.

It depends on a lot of different things. What venue you wrote to him at, they may pass on letters, they may not. Whoever gets your letter - you may get a worker at the venue who is just an a-hole & trashs it or sends it back to you. Or you may have sent it too late, or too early and it gets trashed or sent back to you.

But I've seen 3-4 successes in the past from Alice via venues.

I too have seen successes vv. I'm getting ready to send him one, hoping that it reaches him and is signed. Sending vv is a tricking thing, as others have noted. It does depend on the venue, who is handling the mail, and getting it there at the right time. Even with all the stars aligning, it still can fail. But I still do it!

Yeah the SECC are really good at passing on mail so I'm not sure how it never got to him. I have had a few successes there! Sorry to hear!

I have sent to him at the Alexandra Palace gig,but will not know if I have been successful until I get back to blighty.

thanks for the comments guys - i sent it first class - 2 weeks before the concert so can only presume someone didnt pass it on???

I sent to a venue in Melbourne when he was out here that pass on, I even emailed & they responded that it had been given to his manager but I did not get a response.
