I got a RTS from selena gomez from a venue i sent to in october in bc canada and the lady told me they pass on mail foresure but the performers wont always accept it so good thing i got her auto in 2009 because its impossible now Seems most singers have stopped signing vv this year because i also got a rts from britney spears and i also got her autograph in 2009 vv and i got nothing back from avril lavigne either I didnt bother with a pic of the rts envelope not worth my time.

Aww! I was about to send to her VV:( I actually think its kind of mean that she doesn't accept the fan mail...

You are right, there really seems to have been a decline in vv signing this year. You can add Taylor Swift and Katy Perry to the list.

I guess when certain artists start receiving too much mail vv, their team puts a stop to it, especially when they realize they can charge for autographs that people will actually buy. Really sucks.

For the record, I also sent to Selena this past summer, and never got anything back. Not even an RTS. To a venue I know forwards mail...

I can't say I'm surprised to hear about Avril Lavigne. As soon as I saw on her website that she was selling VIP tickets for her tour in Canada, I figured she wouldn't sign. It really sucks.

She signed for several people a couple of months ago on her European tour! Which is why I'm sure many of us had hope...
I didn't know she was selling VIPs for her Canadian dates though. That could definitely be it. I also tried her this time around vv without response.

I know. I wanted to write to her on her European tour, but didn't get around to doing it and I badly regret it now. From what I remember, she didn't sell VIP tickets for her European concert dates, which is probably why she signed back then. As soon as artists sell VIPs, their management seems to put a stop to them signing for free because it would be bad for business.

I guess all we can do is hope that Avril won't be selling VIP tickets on her next tour. Then we should have a chance again.

Wish I would have known she was selling VIPs so I could've saved myself some time & moolah!

I know Taylor Swift stopped signing because of a stalker and she isn't allowed to anymore.

I guess I can kinda see why people like Selena stopped signing TTM, and Katy Perry has always been kind of difficult to get- but it really makes me sad when people go through the trouble of VV and get nothing. :/
