This must be my fourth time writing to Patti LuPone (and probably my last...) but what can I say? She's super-talented, a fantastic signer, and items just keep popping up that I need her on. When I met Audra McDonald last fall I knew that I'd have to start a project on the CD booklet for one of my favorite recordings, "Sweeney Todd Live in Concert". I was going to send it off to Stephen Sondheim next, but then I saw that Patti LuPone was on Broadway for a limited time and figured there was no better window to get her signature on it than now. She's reliably fast, as always, and now it's Sondheim's turn!
