Daniel Tosh performed at the Santa Barbara Bowl on August 18th and a week before I sent a picture, a SASE, and a letter. Then on Friday the 24th I got my pic back personalized and signed ( I asked him to personalize it)

I sent to him vv as well, (not the place you did) but never got anything back, and he's my most wanted. At least seeing this post makes me believe that he actually does sign vv, cuz when I got nothing back, my hopes went down.

Did you check to make sure the place you mailed to passes on fanmail?

It wasn't on the did or did not list on here, so I emailed the venue and asked, and they said they did and they told me where I could send it to. Not very trustworthy. Either that, or he didnt want to sign.

That is odd. Im sorry you didn't get anything back. He going to be peforming at the Mirage hotel in las vegas in sept and oct. i dont know if they pass on fanmail but you could try again.

That's exactly what I'm doing. If I don't get anything back again, I think I'll just try a different venue when he goes back on tour again, whenever that will be. Usually it's a hit or a miss with the venues that aren't on the do/do not list though. It's been a miss for me most of the time, and I don't send out VV much.

I have doen 3 via venues and got 2 back. the one i failed on was Aziz ansari

I have done quite a few VV's, just not all at the same time. I can't remember how many I've sent, but I've gotten probably 2 or 3 back from venues I've sent to. And I hear Daniel's a pretty good signer if you get him at the right time and venue, but I obviously didn't.
