One of my favorite movie musicals is "Reefer Madness", but I kind of always struck out whenever writing to the cast. I've tried Amy Spanger a few times, Ana Gasteyer once, Alan Cumming a couple of times, and I think Christian Campbell once before, too, never getting any response back. The bad luck streak was finally broken last week when I got my photo back signed from Christian Campbell, aka the amazing Jimmy Harper. It looked like he was having some trouble with his silver Sharpie, because the signature is pretty weak and he went over the personalization in black Sharpie. Luckily, I included an index card with it, and he wrote a very kind note and signed that, too, so at least I have one good signature! I'm hesitant to send the poster out again any time soon given my bad luck, but I'm sure I'll end up trying to get the other cast members on it one way or another.
