No, only because I know he sends secs often. So I didn't want to waste it on a sec signed photo. I probably should've since this venue seems to be very good at passing on fanmail.

Why throw away the envelope? I like to keep mine and compare the postmark to see how long it took to arrive.
Even if they use my SASE, I keep it anyway.

I threw it away because I don't want it?.... I don't really care how long an autograph takes as long as I get one. And I know this only took a few weeks to arrive. If I kept every envelope I'd have like 1,000 and I'd rather not keep useless stuff around.

Okay... do you throw away envelopes that might have their handwriting on it? I would keep those.
It's within your right to keep or throw away the envelopes... I just find it a bit odd.
