Steve Miller Band Interesting Failure

Sent Steve Miller a letter with my ticket stub from his June 30th concert in Minnesota to another venue he was playing at in early July.

After a few weeks I wrote it off as a lost cause, and 6 months later a letter shows up (today) with my ticket stub (unsigned) along with 6 guitar picks and what appears to be a backstage pass sticker from the show I was at.

The envelope came from Boise, ID. According to Wiki, Steve has a place in Ketchum, Idaho which is a few hours east of Boise. From the very limited writing on the backstage pass (6/30 JPJ - which means Jackpot Junction, the venue and date of the concert), does this appear to be his handwriting? The only comparable specimen I could find was the link below, in which Steve signs dates with dots rather than backslashes....

No, Steve didn't write that on the pass. He is not a good signer, but it looks like his tour manager just sent you a bunch of cool stuff as a consolation. Neat!
