Sent 2 photos, letter, and SASE to James Franco via True Story New York venue 01/29/13.

Received 2 photos (with notes on back), short letter, and my envelope with newly written hearts and a star on 6/18/13.

I haven't seen his handwriting (only printed, never cursive) so I'm not sure if these are authentic. Thinking they might be secs but would love everyone's opinion since I don't have many handwriting or signature samples to go off of.

Interesting.......it's hard to tell. I don't think he usually signs his whole name, James. The autograph on the picture looks more like his real signature than his autograph on the letter.

The autograph in the photos look real but all the doodles and the letter and all that are fake.

They don't even match his writing on the photo or anywhere else. Definitely strange. But the photos are real.

I have two theories:

1. It is real and he was on drugs when replying

2. It's a sec and someone is taking the piss.

I am leaning to option two.... that writing looks slightly feminine

It does look really feminine. But I guess it could be real and he was just screwing around.

well the ones on the photos i do agree looks like he did himself, but the letters i think are written by his secretary or someone else. congrats on the success though.

Hm i sent on 25th feb. But for me this doesnt look real somehow, the whole thing. But im not so familiar with his sig so congrats you at least got something! After seven trys without success i gave a little bit up on this...

Honestly, I think the photos are fake too. He has never crossed the f with the j. Sorry.

I can't see the signature that well. Maybe if the photos were brightened a bit.

I don't know... they look a little different from those photos, but I believe them to be real. IPs are always a little different than TTM as they're not in as much of a rush, with fans screaming at them. And, in my opinion, they look close enough that it isn't a sec. Great success! I hope to get mine soon
