On June 3, 2013: I sent a letter, two 4x6 photos and a SASE to the venue of

"The Hobbit" (Valid until the last week of July for most of the cast)

On June 29, 2013, I received my two photos back both signed and personalized in my SASE.

This is my first Hobbit cast member success ever!
I find it funny how Graham spelled my name wrong. Sadly, he didn't let them dry completely as both are a bit smudged/smeared by the envelope.

Congrats I sent my request out a couple of weeks ago to him. I hope to hear back soon. I have gotten 3 back from the hobbit set so far: Richard Armitage, Peter Hambleton(Gloin), and Ian McKellen.

Thanks! I saw your Richard one. When did you send your request to Peter Hambleton? I sent to him as well as most of the cast. You must've sent yours much earlier than I as I've not heard from him.

Thanks! Yes, I did have to buy stamps from http://stamps.nzpost.co.nz/new-zealand/ ... ed-journey under single stamps. I love the Hobbit stamps. Also, because the US Postal Service no longer sells IRCs, so I have to buy stamps.
SASE means "self-addressed stamped envelope". SAE is "self-addressed envelope".
