I wrote to him on the last leg of his "Eat, Pray, Laugh" tour in London -- he doesn't really seem to respond via an agency address, and this was touted as his last tour, so I figured it was my last shot. I'm sure he's best known as Dame Edna, but I'm a fan because of his role as the Great Goblin/Goblin King in "The Hobbit," and he very kindly signed my card.
