I sent a photo, letter and SAE addressed to both Deborah and Robin as well as 11 others in one envelope on: 11th September 2013, and yesterday I recieved my photo back signed only by Deborah, still really happy though. plus the letter came back with a £1.50 owed stamp on it, but the postman put it through anyway.

The surcharge is probably because you have obviously re-used the stamp...

I guess that's why you never put the stamp in the top-right corner, in the hope that it won't be franked?
You do realise that re-using stamps is illegal under the Fraud Act 2006?

Did you think that the piece of brown envelope stuck behind the stamp would somehow blend in with the white envelope you've glued it on to?!!!!
