"How I Met Your Mother" LEGEN-wait for it-DARY SUCCESS!!!

My heart is still racing I am so excited about this!!
Back on 8/22/13, I sent a letter addressed to the cast of "HIMYM" as I was gearing up to watch the final season. I went into detail about how much I (and especially my sister) adore the show and have enjoyed following it up until that point. I included copies of drawings I did of each of the main cast (hoping to maybe get one or two back if anything) and an 8x10 group shot. I sent this all along with an SASE to:

FLASH FORWARD: The show has come to an end, leaving a void in our weekly routine and feeling kind of down after what many have considered a "bummer" ending (although I can't say it caught me totally by surprise). Still, we plan on re-watching our favorite episodes many times over and still constantly quote the show. Coincidentally, I JUST bought a "Robin Sparkles" shirt for my sister that came today too!
LO AND BEHOLD WHAT SHOWS UP IN MY MAILBOX TODAY (5/5/14):
I tore open the envelope ever so carefully to reveal:

A signed note thanking me for the drawings along with a 5x7 dedicated to my sister from Neil Patrick Harris (Barney's her fav) and an 8x10 signed by THE ENTIRE CAST. Josh, Neil and Cobie all added inscriptions and Alyson added her usual smiley face.
Words cannot describe how stoked I am by this, they are already framed to go on the wall. I had all but given up hope when the show ended, and had even planned on trying to write the cast individually using other addresses so this caught me totally be surprise. Wow. As far as I'm concerned I might as well give up on this hobby because I don't think I'll be able to top this!

It's weird that they're working for some people, but not for others.
