Peter Murphy Via Venue Success

Last year I wrote a letter to Peter Murphy, lead singer of Bauhaus to a few concert venues. I got an almost immediate reply. He signed and personalized each photo and wrote some really nice things on the photos taking up nearly all the space! I thought that was funny! I also forgot that I didn't include my wifes' name in the letter so he personalized it to me + wife. Oops.
As an interesting post-script, I wrote to him to a venue in Washington D.C. As it turns out, the letter didn't reach him in time. The venue sent me the letter back, included some extra stamps for me and told me Good Luck in trying again. And then even threw in four free tickets to come to another show. It was really nice!
