via "The Hollow Crown 2" set (no longer valid --> the man himself said so)

When I opened the mail, I couldn't believe that I've finally reached him and got a response after my 8th try!!! When I tried that "The Hollow Crown" set, I was only sending for the sake of sending. I never thought that it could work, especially I sent a bit too late to know for sure if it would reach him in time. And it DID!!! OMG~

Not only did he sign my picture, answered my Q&A, but he even wrote a little note asking me how did I know this address??!! Ha. I am super super super excited right now because I simply adore him, and he has been my most wanted for over than a year now. Not to mention that he seems so hard to get by mail these days.

I'm very happy that I took the chance!! And I'd like to thank that particular park for helping forward my fanmail

My questions for him is: "What is his favorite Hitchcock movie??"

I know. I am still over the moon for getting a response from this cute man After reading the note, now I love him even more. However, I do have to write to him again to any next venue to explain how I reached him this time. Hahaha.

You tried the Neal Street Productions one? You must've lucked out with that, because I e-mailed the studio to see if they did -- and they told me they forward mail to the actors' agents rather directly to them.

I was looking to get another actor (not Cumberbatch) VV, but I decided not to waste postage on that.

I have sent to Neal Street Productions, too. But, my response is actually from another place. Unfortunately, that venue was only valid from 10/27-11/07. So, like the man himself said, no luck sending there anymore ...

Glad to know that Neal Street will forward fan mails. Then, there is still sth. to look forward to

That's what I thought. I had searched for production offices for "Hollow Crown", but you had better luck than I did.

It turns out the actor I'm looking for (Sam Troughton) will be doing a play at the New Vic this January through February. So that's all right. It supposedly forwards mail to actors, so I'll try him that way.
