Hi guys!

I sent a Via Venue request to Arnie when he was in Finland in October 2014 and on last Friday I received my pic back unsigned with a pre-print autograph and it came from the address in the database.

So, Arnie does not sign via venue. Had to try but it was great that I got to meet him.

You mean that it's a success that I receive a piece of paper from his management? No.

The fact that is it success or not depends on your goal. If your goal is to receive his autograph (not a pre-print) and you do not get it, that doesn't count as a success.

If your goal is to receive something back from the person who takes care of the mail someone famous receives, then I guess that would be a success. But that was not what I set out to do. Arnie did not personally sign the item = failure.

My two cents on this "is it a success if you receive a PP/stamp/etc."

Too bad! Hopefully, there might be a way of getting him... Better luck for next time

^Thanks man, but I have him already, met Arnie in person. This via venue stuff was a fail safe which didn't work out.
