On 02.02.2016 with LoR, SASE and a picture to get signed,

and received today, 10.02.2016:
My LoR back (never happened to me before ), a pick (asked for that as I am collecting them as well, but caught the exact same one at the show I was writing too ) and the cover of Vol 3: The Subliminal Verses signed by 7 members of Slipknot (so the core of the band, not the two "new" ones")!

Tried to get them for years and now finally got them, still not believing this!

Yeah the combination of both, artist and location, is really important. I guess sometimes it also depends on the person giving the letters to them, if they are a fan as well they could easily keep it (not that I want to say they do, just that it would be possible) and even the mood of the artists. I wrote to slipknot about 10 times or more and never got anything back, so might just had a good day
