Yeah the combination of both, artist and location, is really important. I guess sometimes it also depends on the person giving the letters to them, if they are a fan as well they could easily keep it (not that I want to say they do, just that it would be possible) and even the mood of the artists. I wrote to slipknot about 10 times or more and never got anything back, so might just had a good day
