Idina Menzel (of Broadway's Rent, Wicked) Success

I sent a letter, one IRC and an SAE to Idina Menzel via the Apollo Victoria Theatre, where she is currently playing the role of Elphaba in the musical, Wicked. She sent back a 5X7 photo along with a short letter.

WOW! I have to say that I am SO jealous of you! I actually sent one out on the 22nd of november, not really expecting anything back (I've sent out several before this, so...)

however, i do have a question:

I, living in the U.S., sent only an SAE w/o and IRC.
Did you send an IRC... or do you live in the UK already?

moviemonger, I've never heard of Idina Menzel sending anything but real autographs. The only problem is that she can take forever to respond . . . if she responds at all (The only reason I have her autograph is because I saw her in person.)

Yes, I'm pretty sure it's real. It's definitely not a preprint. I think she signs a whole bunch of pictures in advance, and if you send her a picture then she'll personalize it also.
