Johnny Depp - legit or no?

Knowing the frequency with which he sends out autopens (ALL THE TIME!
), of course I assume this is in the same vein. But it never hurts to ask...just to make sure, right?
I sent a letter, SASE and this picture to the set of SWEENEY TODD on March 12. Got the pic back today.
Here it is:
Sure wouldn't bother me if it's an autopen, but at least I can dream....

that is very cool, but i think it's an autopen. at least, it looks like one, as the lines are all the same thickness etc. but it might not be.

Yes, its autopen. Johhny has at least 3 templates he uses, and that is one of them. Nice pic though.

Nice success!!! I really like the picture you sent to him, zenbird. It's a real shame that it's an autopen, but nonetheless is it VERY nice!!

Autopen is when a picture is run through a machine, in which prints the signature onto the photo. Like Johnny, for example, he has 3 different types. One with just his autograph and two others with a little inscription on it.

An Autopen machine does not "print" an autograph on a photo, it holds a pen and signs the autograph onto the photo.
