I sent a letter, photo and SASE to Ben Folds on June 25, 2007:

He had a concert at the Palace of Auburn Hills on July 5, 2007.
Today (August 1, 2007) I received my photo back signed. He used my SASE & the return address was my own.
He's one of my all-time favorite musicians, so I'm really excited about this success!
