I send a letter and a SAE on 24 October VV the new Harry Potter and on 7 November I got some PP:s back

Fanmail

I'm surprized fans send any fanmail to the Leavesden address.Its a working studio hired by the production company who in turn hire the actors.Its not their job to pass on fanmail and nothing sent there is either read or passed on to the stars.If you are lucky you might get a pre-print photo which the marketing dept sends out basically as PR to keep people interested in the movies they make.Daniel radcliffe and Emma watson no longer answer fanmail , even through their agent/manager who are based at london addresses, not the US, they only have reps in the US.The mail volume is too large and also quite frankley they have been ripped off so many times in their younger days by signing stuff for so-called fans who in turn have placed it straight on Ebay ,they no longer reply.Its a shame but everyone now pays the price for dishonesty.Daniel Radcliffe didn't reply when in theatre, the few photos returned were only assistant secretarial and if he signs outside (rare) its only Dan or Daniel! The best chance to get a real autograph is a Harry potter premiere allthough Emma watson will occasionaly turn up at other events( she showed at the premiere for Damned United with her boyfriend). Daniel Radcliffe will sign but is very selective (no books or paper only proper photos, watch him closely), Emma Watson is great and try's to sign as much as she can in the time.If you go to the premiere in London you'll need to be queueing from midday the previous day.Yeh , i know but its the only way you can do it.At the last premiere fans were flying in from as far away as Mexico and South Africa so its so busy.The other Harry potter stars will occasionaly sign through their agent, and some of the lesser stars like Katie Leung , the twins etc have started doing conventions but there you'll have to pay .Hope this info might help
