Received both my photos back today, personalised to Maureen which is part of my address not my name :( A bit disappointed about that to be honest.

great succes not trying to be a hard one but did you ask him in your letter to personalize it to your name because this is what i do i always write after i request the auto and if you could please personalize to anthony as well it would be great because maybe if you wrote the adress on your letter he got it confused stil the simpsons rule and i will write dan next sending period at the simpsons adress.

Oh that's too bad! I would be really upset. I'm glad that that should never happen with me because I have a PO box and not a street address, so they couldn't confuse my name with a street name or anything of the sort.

I didn't ask for it personalised but only the SASE had my address on it. Letter clearly had my name on it. Oh well lol :lol:

Hi JJK91 {up}

Were those genuinely photo printed as opposed to laser or inkjet printed?

If so, it will probably be possible to remove the incorrect personalisation using a little surgical acetone (available from the pharmacy - not nail polish remover!) and some cotton wool. Don't rub it, but brush over it quickly with the absolute minimum of acetone.

I have done this in the past where celebs have personalised a photo to me, as I collect soley for charity auctions {thumb2} and it has worked a treat :D However, if the picture is printed using any kind of ink - don't risk it.

Of course it is up to you ;-) but if you are sure they are properly photographically printed (like from a photo lab) then it might be worth trying. You do have two afterall, and if the wrong personalisation bothers you - then this might well be an option.

Cheers,
Ian :mrgreen:

I tried that on one of them. It didn't work. Haha. They were printed on my printer so that'll be why. Just figured it was worth a shot since I have two of them.

Thanks anyway {thumb2}
