If it's Mickey Rooney, hardly surprizing, he blows hot and cold, anyway.

Dont expect him, to be the same on any two days ever.
Hehe, he's the same EVERY day; nasty old man. I won't mention his most recent daftness case die-hard fans of his get offended lol, but he wasn't just horrible to us but his wife too! (I'll give him slight credit for doing 2 autographs for me on Saturday though!)

I managed 5 autographs from him in total (2 have been relocated to other members in trade lol) so I'm pretty happy!

Gan on lol...

He wasn't directly horrible to me but when he was making his run towards the door (he signed for 2 people at his car, then signed for me around the corner from the Stage Door) he was shouting "I can't do it, I f***ing can't do it!" while his son was giving the whole 'we have a business to run!' (I'm assuming this meant: 'Buy signed merchandise in the shop' lol). He managed to get to the door and literally pushed into another collector with both hands, then slammed the door shut. But in the process he signed for about 4/5 people which isn't too bad I guess...

Jan (his wife, actress) was still signing so I made my way over to her... And then Mickey must've opened the stage door because all you could hear was:

"Make her stop, tell her to f***ing stop" (signing autographs) continuously. I mean what has that got to do with him?? He's already being paid so much for the panto nevermind trying to flog his and her signed stuff too LOL!

Good job there wasn't any young kids waiting because his language and actions are terrible!

That's very interesting.

You would think, he would be greatful, that people still love him and his movies.
He has always, falshly projucted, this favorite uncle image, and if his has any faith, he should be disguted with his actions.

There have been, other US celebs in panto, who have been, only too pleased to give out free autographs. Well I got 3 from Paul Michael Glaser, 1 flyer from Henry winkler, all personalized.

And 3 from Antonio Fargas, Not personalized but signed anyway.

I think the reason, for my Mickey Rooney success, is being quite honest, I was fairly likely, one of the first, he recieved.

So far I'm not convinced by the few TTM successes I've seen from the venue. Although I've only seen scans from RSVP and another success from someone showing me in-person after they missed Mickey during the first week.

Although I'd still like to see your Scan Ant, when you get that scanner working! :)

You're right about his 'false image' though- don't believe everything you see on TV haha...

Last time he was here (well, Newcastle at the Theatre Royal), I heard it was a total fiasco with people throwing money at his son while he was forcing Mickey to sign autographs while grabbing the cash. His son was in charge of him at Sunderland too, so I'm guessing he's also Mickey's agent. I just hope he didn't get a hold of Mickey's mail because if he did there's no way they're authentic lol!!!

No suprise there. It's a shame because the other US stars in panto have been great at replying; I have three from Henry Winkler, one IP, and 5 from Paul Michael Glaser, 3 IP. Also a Mickey Rooney that Josh got me :D can finally tell people as the show's finished YAY!

I wanted to write to Fargas but ran out of time. :(

Haha... I only managed 2 spare signed flyers, one of which found its way to you James and the other which is being transferred to Germany shortly lol for Stephan. Of course I always try to help people out with IPs but sometimes it's hard to guarantee this and I'd hate to be asked by a lot of people and have to refuse lol. :)

Fair enough if I got several people asking for Les Dennis or something lol, but in terms of Mickey Rooney... Meh!

He's officially gone now so no more requests haha =P
