sent LOR and today I rec'd a playbill signed by Nathan Lane.
however the sig doesn't match any I have seen. it's really neat and in cursive :/
i have a sneaking suspicion that the stage manager or somebody might have signed it

I didn't see "November," but waited outside the theatre afterward and Nathan never came out. Others told me that he doesn't come out and sign, which rare on Broadway. I also wonder how he gets out of the theatre as there seems to be only one way out.

One person said he leaves right away, so maybe he bolts right from the stage door.

Where's the love?!?

Hmmm.... that is weird that he didn't come out to sign or even leave that way. Usually all the cast does seeing as to it is the only way out - however some stars take as long as 2 1/2 hours to come out or they purposely wait until everyone leaves as to not deal with the fans whichh is pretty harsh seeing as to how it's freezing in New York now and they shouldn't keep people waiting. But I remember for "Cyrano de Bergerac" It took Daniel Sunjata an hour to come out because of the change of clothes, removal of the fake hair, and showering and all that good stuff - plus it was opening night so for sure there were people to be dealt with inside - but on the other hand - Kevin Kline never came out, and after waiting for three hours the paparazzi and i gave up ;-) but I suppose it's because he had the prostetics on his face to transform him - although I don't think Nathan Lane's character in November has anything like that.

Anywho, hope you can get your success soon drewbaby {thumb2}

Actually, there are several notable "Broadway" stars who don't come out after a performance (some of the majority of the cast don't come out after matinees at all sometimes, weather depending!) especially the cast of "Young Frankestein." Hardly any of them do actually. And like most theatres, there are exits through the theatre so that if one actor choses not to sign autographs (I'm truly against it myself!) they don't have to be in the crowd.
